About Mobile Care Services Ltd

Mobile Care Services Ltd was established in 1992, with the belief that people should always have the right to choose how and where they receive their care and support. This stems from two fundamental principles – that our Customers should be offered the choice to be supported to remain at home if that is their wish and that any support that they receive should always be performed to an exceptionally high standard.

From these initial concepts, we have blossomed into a Company providing a first-class domiciliary service to over 500 people across North Warwickshire, South East Staffordshire and South West Leicestershire.

As Mobile Care Services Ltd has grown and expanded, the Company’s core ethics, foundations and ideals have changed little, with our focus always on offering a highly personalised and individual service, maintaining Customer satisfaction and the delivery of quality support services.   Mobile Care Services Ltd has adapted and evolved over the years, whilst ensuring that the best interests of our Customers are always at the heart of any decisions made.

Mobile Care Services Ltd works in partnership with our Customers and their families to deliver person-centred, outcome-based support that promotes Customer control, independence, choice, well-being and dignity. This ensures that our Customers receive a service that they feel comfortable, safe and happy with.

We are inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and rated on 5 key areas; is our Service Safe, Responsive, Effective, Caring and Well Led?  We have achieved ‘Good’ in all areas and following our most recent inspection here are some of the comments that our CQC Inspector was told when she spoke to our Customers or their Next of Kins:

“Mobile Care Services give us a specific time and carer name…they’ve never sent a gentleman, which is good. I think ladies understand ladies… I have the same group of staff and haven’t met any that I don’t like.”

“They always give me a choice about what clothes to wear, they never just make the decision for me.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care. The carer is more like a close friend, and my wife, who is living with dementia, sees them as a friend visiting for a coffee. They look at photos and do puzzles together.”

“Mobile Care Services give us a specific time and carer name.  I write this on the calendar and that helps reduce my relative’s stress about having care.”

Having provided excellent domiciliary support to Customers in the local community since 1992, Mobile Care Services Ltd has been winners and finalists in the Great British Care Awards on many occasions.

Judges of the awards commented on the ‘exceptional togetherness’ of the Care Team in ‘promoting the well-being of Service Users’, demonstrating ‘clear compassion and commitment’ in the service delivered. Mobile Care Services Ltd was described as “Putting their Service Users at the heart of their work and with passion and commitment, ensures quality services by listening carefully to what Service Users want, supporting and directing the teams to deliver a professional, safe service.

Judges commented on the ‘Natural culture of professionalism, exceptional standards and genuine team work which resonates through the Company, and felt that ‘Mobile Care Services Ltd shone through as worthy winners’. The awards are testament to the hard work and commitment of all our staff and the extremely high level of care and support they provide.

We now employ 235 dedicated Community Support workers, who are selected not only for their potential and their skills and abilities to carry out their job role, but also for having a real passion to do their very best for the Customers we support.
